Still the best basic course in Moroccan Arabic - A Basic Course in Moroccan Arabic with MP3 Files is a textbook classic and a must for anybody seriously interested in learning Moroccan Arabic. Although the title says it s a Basic Course, the book contains 130 lessons and 97 dialogs supported by MP3 files. Some time has elapsed since the recordings were made, though. The quality is still highly acceptable. I was somewhat dissappointed when I first listened to the files using Windows Media Player and quickly changed to RealPlayer v10 which gives a much, much better sound quality. Unfortunately, the pronunciation of Moroccan Arabic still remains very challenging.
audio for this book is abysmal - One reason I got this book was for many hours audio it has. However the audio seems to be re-encoded from a decades old recording. The audio quality is absolutely terrible. I would have given this book one star as the book itself might be good, but i ll never know as the quality of the audio put me off completing the book.
